METU – Architectural Material Presentation
Our firm was invited to the Spring Presentation of METU in 2014 which is traditionally held every spring and brings together the students and the structural material manufacturers. The presentation was made in the METU Architecture Department, attended by invitees, academic staff and students with great participation and interest.
In the first part, our company’s General Manager Mech. Msc. Eng. Gürkan AKDOĞAN presented the general information about our company and our products,In the second part, our company’s Technical Consultant Msc. Eng. Arch. Cihat Uysal explained the basics and the scope of structural design,In the third section, structural design director of our company, Civil Msc. Eng. Ali Faik Ulusoy presented detailed information about the problems encountered by POLARKON while manufacturing single layer steel vault roof of İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport Terminal Building and the solutions found.
